Meet Our staff
My lovely wife, Christen, and I have been entrusted with four mostly sweet little children. We honestly love doing things with folks from church, going on “missions” (projects, grocery runs, etc.) and getting together with family. I enjoy almost anything involving new ideas, ball sports, lakes, mom and pop coffee shops, craft root beers, or charcoal grills - especially using said things to build relationships and make disciples. I first thought about pastoring in first grade when I had all of the pastor’s lines from the Lutheran liturgy memorized. As a child, my church’s Awana program was massively formational in my spiritual growth. When I was sixteen years old I started to read the Bible regularly, while also getting a regular job with unchurched people, and I was compelled to share what God was saying with anybody who would listen. God has continued to give me greater opportunities to teach, and lead in various contexts from high school youth group to college student government to summers at a Christian camp to a church plant in Maine to Antigo Community Church. Along the way I studied at Calvary University and Trinity International Divinity School. My dream is to equip every Christ-follower to be a compelling ambassador of Christ toward everyone in their lives.
Worship & student ministries
I am married to Kayla and we have an adorable little girl named Jessa and two handsome sons named Cooper and Brody. As a family we like to travel, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. I am the type of person that likes to do everything from mountain biking and backpacking, to fishing and motorcycles. I like to work with my hands and love making things better. I originally went to school to be an automotive mechanic and spent 8 years in the Army Reserve as a diesel mechanic. After returning from a deployment in Afghanistan God opened the door for me to start an internship at my church. The internship along with going back to school to get my degree in theological and biblical studies has brought me here. I love middle and high school ministry and am excited to see how God uses me here in Antigo.
Director of Operations
Favorite activities of mine are playing with my four little nieces, camping, singing and playing music, crocheting and doing other crafty things, and having game nights with friends and family! I grew up going to church with my parents and three older siblings and have always enjoyed the services and other activities like VBS, youth group, and quilting, (which I still do with my mom when I’m back home in Spooner, WI). In high school I joined a life group and realized it wasn’t enough to just go to church and know the right answers.
I began taking my own personal relationship with Jesus more seriously, and throughout college at UW-Eau Claire I continued to grow in my faith. Before and after graduating in December 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, I got to do summer mission trips to Milwaukee and Dearborn, MI. Both were wonderful experiences and I encourage everyone to go on mission trips as well as serve in your local community because it opens your eyes and heart to people who may seem very different than you, but are really just like you... broken and in the need of the Savior! Hope to meet you soon!
I was born and raised in Chicago IL, and I come from a family of six kids. I was home schooled from K-12th Grade and Graduated from Nicolet Bible Institute in 2018. I enjoy late night bonfires with a guitar and friends, playing Frisbee and Football, and the occasional walk around the park. Music has been a major part of my life and I have learned how to play a wide variety of instruments including Guitar, Piano, Drums, Ukulele, Mandolin, Bass Guitar, and even the Accordion. I started playing with my Church's Worship team when I was 12 years old and I started leading worship at 15. God has given me a heart for music and a desire to serve Him!
I grew up in a small town called Cloquet (pronounced Klo-kay), MN. When I was a young boy, I attended
Elim Lutheran church in Duluth, MN with my grandma and I got baptized there when I was six years old. I
had no clue what baptism meant other than the fact that I had to dip my head in a golden fish bowl, and
that it must’ve been a good thing because the whole congregation cheered when my head came up out
of the water. Once school, sports, and other activities became more important, I stopped going to
church all together until my sophomore year of high school. One day, one of my good friends, Ryan,
invited me to Youth Group at Grace Church. I had no clue what Youth Group was, but I just wanted
another excuse to get out of my house, so I went. From the first day I attended I felt a change of heart. It
was like I was apart of something bigger; something I’ve been missing my whole life. Towards the end of
my senior year, I made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord & Savior. It was at that moment I
realized I needed a change and that only Jesus could satisfy all my needs and wants. Since then I’ve been
re-baptized and committed my life to the one who will never fail me. Praise God! In my first year of
college, I attended Nicolet Bible Institute and served as Summer Staff at Silver Birch Ranch in White
Lake, WI to further my relationship with God. In the middle of my freshman year of college, I met ACC Youth Pastor
Josh Suehs. It is because of the great influence that both him and my Youth Pastor back home have
instilled in me that I have received a strong calling from God into Pastoral Ministry. Never in a million
years would I see myself even seeking a career path as a Pastor, but here I am at ACC interning under
Josh & Kellen while doing full-time online schooling through the University of Northwestern – St. Paul.
I’m excited for this year, especially for the way that God will use me to impact the Antigo community.
My lifelong goal is go out into the world and shine my light, showing everyone the one true Lord &
Savior, Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
